About

I am a member of the Department of Philosophy of Ateneo de Manila University. I received a master's degree in Philosophy from Ateneo de Manila, and have also done postgraduate work in citizenship and history education via the University of London International Programme (lead college: Institute of Education).  My research interests are political philosophy, diversity and multiculturalism, and citizenship education.

My current research is on conceptions of citizenship and national identity in the Grade 5 social studies curriculum and textbooks in the Philippines.

I am also currently the coordinator for the School of Humanities Junior Term Abroad program of Ateneo de Manila.
